Bangkok Unveils Thailand Tourism Festival 2024
Bangkok is gearing up to host the 42nd Thailand Tourism Festival, slated to take place from March 28 to April 1 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. This eagerly anticipated event promises to be a grand showcase of the country’s rich cultural heritage and its steadfast commitment to sustainable tourism practices. Organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the festival is expected to attract approximately 150,000 visitors, offering a plethora of activities that celebrate the unique offerings of Thailand’s diverse regions.
Themed “Zero Waste to Landfills,” the festival underscores Thailand’s earnest efforts toward environmentally conscious tourism initiatives. Of particular significance at this year’s event is the Sustainable Tourism Goals Zone, which serves as a focal point for initiatives aimed at achieving a net-zero carbon tourism industry.
