Chuvit claims that Mr. Srettha played a role in assisting 12 landowners to evade taxes amounting to 521 million baht concerning Sansiri’s acquisition of a prime 400-square-wah plot on Sarasin Road in Bangkok (1 square wah is equal to 4 square meters).
In response to the accusation, Sansiri, the company in question, refuted the claims. In a statement, they asserted that the responsibility for dealing with taxes and ownership transfer fees in the land sale rested with the sellers. The company clarified that they were solely obliged to make payments at agreed-upon prices and facilitate the land ownership transfer as per the agreement.
