In Pattaya’s Farang Bar, a distressing incident unfolded on April 7th, involving a German patron accused of assaulting two Thai female employees over a disputed bill. Anchisa Thongphuek and Warunee Promwaen, both victims of the attack, bravely submitted CCTV evidence to the Mueang Pattaya Police Station. The altercation occurred around 2 am at Soi Lengkee’s Farang Bar, escalating after the German customer disputed his bill, alleging overcharging. Despite attempts to explain the charges, the situation turned violent, with the man physically assaulting both employees, leading to their forced eviction from the premises. Shockingly, bystanders remained passive, and even the man’s wife failed to intervene. Prompt police intervention resulted in the man’s arrest, with the charges yet to be disclosed. Concerns about the man’s history of aggression arose, as he reportedly worked as an engineer and had a tendency for violence after consuming alcohol. Anchisa and Warunee urged thorough investigations and emphasized their determination to pursue legal action against the perpetrator.
