On September 10, 2024, a meeting was held to address the progress of the construction project on Soi Hua Hin 94, which involves building a reinforced concrete road with a drainage system from the railway to the front of Chang Heng Hotel. The meeting, held at the Nares Damri Room in the Hua Hin Municipality Office, included the Deputy Mayor, Municipal Council members, the Permanent Secretary, project supervisors, contractors from Alongkot Materials Limited Partnership, and affected residents.
The construction, managed by Alongkot Materials Limited Partnership, has encountered several issues. Challenges include problems with the sand layer, which collapsed during excavation, making it difficult to place concrete for the sump. Additionally, discrepancies between the construction model and the actual site conditions have caused delays. Consequently, construction was temporarily suspended to amend the contract and address these issues.

Residents were informed about the problems and showed understanding of the situation. The project manager will resume work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., allowing local businesses to operate during off-hours. The community requested the installation of public information signs along the construction route and regular updates on progress. Municipal officers will assist with traffic management during peak hours. The contractor is expected to complete the initial phase by the end of November 2024.
Mr. Nopporn Wuttikul, Mayor of Hua Hin Municipality, chaired the meeting, ensuring all stakeholders were present to discuss and resolve the issues related to the project.
