Hua Hin Heroes Running Festival 2025 Press Conference Held

On 10 September 2024, a press conference was held for the upcoming Hua Hin Heroes Running Festival 2025 at the Intercontinental Hua Hin Resort Hotel, Tamarind Room. Organized by Mr. Adam Clark, Chairman of the Hua Hin Heroes Group, the independent charity organization aims to support the local community through various initiatives. Two major events have been planned: the Hua Hin Heroes Running Festival on 13 September 2025, at Black Mountain Water Park, and the Hua Hin Heroes Charity Golf Cup on 8 February 2025 at Pineapple Valley Golf Club. Proceeds from both events will go towards community development, helping local schools and children, as well as boosting the Hua Hin economy.

The running festival will feature seven distances, offering opportunities for participants of all ages and abilities: 100 km Ultra Marathon, 50 km Ultra Marathon, 42 km Marathon, 21 km Half Marathon, 10 km Sprint, 5 km Family Run, and a 2 km Children’s Run.

Mr. Achawan Kongkanan, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Prachuap Khiri Khan Office, emphasized the event’s significance for sports tourism, with an expected 3,000-4,000 participants. He noted that the festival will help generate income and increase tourism in the region, linking Hua Hin with neighboring districts and contributing to the local economy.

Towards the end of the event, key officials, including Mr. Siraphan Kamonpramote, Advisor to the Mayor of Hua Hin, Mrs. Wasana Srikanjana, President of the Hua Hin/Cha-am Tourism Business Association, and Mr. Somphit Khumkrong, Mayor of Hin Lek Fai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, shared insights. Mr. Siraphan highlighted the municipality’s efforts to improve infrastructure and ensure the safety of participants, including enhancing the running route and event areas, as well as deploying security officers for the event.
