The Hua Hin Municipality has announced a new infrastructure development project aimed at enhancing tourism accessibility. The initiative, led by the Prachuap Khiri Khan Highway District, focuses on improving roadways and public spaces leading to popular tourist destinations. Key activities include upgrading sidewalks, repairing road shoulders, and refurbishing traffic islands and connecting pathways along Highway 4, specifically from Huai Sai Tai to Wang Yao. The construction zone, stretching from kilometer 216+800 to kilometer 221+200 RT, lies on the western side of the highway from Moowana to just before the Nong Kae overpass.

The project, which is expected to last 180 days, commenced on September 25, 2024, and is set to conclude by March 23, 2025. Authorities have advised the public to be aware of the ongoing work and expressed apologies for any inconvenience caused during this period.
