Paetongtarn Vows to Continue Economic Policies and Promote Soft Power

In a statement made today at the Pheu Thai Party headquarters, Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra committed to continuing Thailand’s economic policies and enhancing the nation’s soft power, pledging to serve the country to the best of her ability. She expressed her gratitude to the House of Representatives, coalition parties, and the public for placing their trust in her leadership.

Paetongtarn also acknowledged the contributions of her predecessor, Srettha Thavisin, who governed Thailand over the past year. She emphasized her focus on addressing the country’s ongoing economic challenges and improving the quality of life for all citizens.

The new prime minister reaffirmed her dedication to key policies, including major economic stimulus measures, tackling drug-related issues, and expanding the universal healthcare system with the “30 Baht Treat Everywhere” policy. Additionally, she plans to build on Thailand’s existing soft power initiatives, which have been gradually developing.

Paetongtarn stressed her commitment to working collaboratively across all sectors to ensure the successful implementation of these policies. She encouraged the public to look forward to the official policy announcement in September, where more detailed plans will be outlined.

In her closing remarks, Paetongtarn expressed her gratitude to the people of Thailand, promising to embrace diversity and strive to make the country a land of opportunity for all. It was reported that officials in attendance also praised her vision for Thailand’s future.
