Pattaya City Forges Academic Alliance for Holistic Health Development

On December 11, 2023, Mr. Pramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City, alongside the city’s Executive Committee, collaborated with leaders from Khon Kaen University, Burapha University, Mahidol University, and the Local Government Promotion Foundation. The memorandum of understanding, signed at Pattaya City Hall’s meeting room 401, aims to bolster a comprehensive health system within the “For Better Pattaya” network.

The alliance marks a significant step in the city’s partnership with educational institutions, emphasizing collaborative efforts to enhance the populace’s quality of life. This partnership between Pattaya City and academic entities pledges mutual support, aiming to optimize health standards and foster a holistic approach to health tourism.

Mayor Pramet Ngampichet highlighted the discussions focused on propelling Pattaya City towards maximal advancements in health and well-being. The agenda involves promoting and facilitating the adoption of a robust health system to empower the public with knowledge, life skills, and educational innovations. This initiative aims to broaden career opportunities for students while fostering a culture of continuous learning within Pattaya’s educational landscape.
