Ahead of the eagerly anticipated People’s Cup-Senior Cup 2024 football competition, Pattaya Football Club made a significant stride on March 28, 2024. Representatives from the club, comprising coaching staff, personnel, and over 50 athletes across various divisions, convened at Pattaya City Hall to meet with Mr. Pramet Ngampichet, the Mayor of Pattaya City and team manager. The gathering, held in meeting room 131, served as a ceremonial send-off to boost morale and motivation before the upcoming tournament.
Under the banner of Pattaya City, the football club is slated to field teams in both the Citizen and Senior categories, with matches scheduled to take place between March and July 2024 at the football stadium in Chonburi Province. Mayor Pramet Ngampichet reiterated the city’s commitment to supporting the club, emphasizing its role in fostering unity and promoting athletic talent within the region. The Mayor’s pledge was accompanied by an expression of joy at the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of sports in Chonburi Province, aiming for excellence at national and regional levels.


Following the meeting, the athletes were presented with team shirts and commemorated the occasion with a photo session alongside the Mayor. Subsequently, they paid homage and sought blessings at the King Tak Shrine in front of Pattaya City Hall, symbolizing their dedication and reverence for the upcoming challenges.
As the competition draws near, Pattaya Football Club gears up for its inaugural matches. The Senior team is set to face off against the Nong Yai District team on March 30, while the General Public category will commence their campaign on March 31 at the National Sports University Stadium, Chonburi Campus. With anticipation running high, the club aims to make its mark on the tournament stage, showcasing the talent and determination of Pattaya’s football community.
