In a significant development on March 28, 2024, at Pattaya City Hall, Mr. Chairat Rakthong, Chairman of the Committee to Inspect and Follow Up on Police Administration at Pattaya City Police Station, alongside Mr. Pramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City, convened for the opening of the Committee for Inspection and Monitoring of Police Administration (P.C.) No. 3/2024. The meeting, attended by the committee Director of the Police Commission, representatives from government and private agencies, and stakeholders, served as a platform to review the efficacy of law enforcement efforts in the region.


During the meeting, police officers from the Pattaya Provincial Police Station presented a comprehensive summary of their recent endeavors, encompassing prevention and suppression work, investigative activities, traffic management, and ongoing investigations. Subsequently, discussions centered on forthcoming initiatives, including plans for service point visits, patrol posts, and provision of resources during the upcoming Songkran festival, particularly the notorious “Seven Dangerous Days.” Additionally, strategies for promoting road safety, such as distributing helmets, were deliberated upon, emphasizing the commitment to safeguarding public well-being and ensuring secure vehicular travel.
