PEA and EVme Plus Collaborate to Boost Electric Vehicle Infrastructure

The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) and EVme Plus Co. Ltd. have formalized their collaboration through the signing of a memorandum of understanding. This partnership aims to delve into the provision of PEA VOLTA electric charging stations and related services, marking a significant stride towards advancing the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in Thailand.

The memorandum signals a concerted effort to bolster the EV infrastructure across the nation, with a specific focus on enhancing services and expanding business opportunities for EV users. Central to this endeavor is the utilization of the PEA VOLTA Application, which serves as a pivotal tool in streamlining energy management and facilitating services within the EV ecosystem.

PEA VOLTA, a digital platform pioneered by the Provincial Electricity Authority, is tailored to cater to the needs of electric vehicle users and entrepreneurs keen on venturing into the electric charging station business. This initiative underscores PEA’s steadfast commitment to fostering the widespread adoption of electric vehicles throughout Thailand, aligning with broader sustainability goals.

Presently, the PEA VOLTA Application boasts an impressive user base exceeding 200,000 individuals. These users benefit from the convenience of accessing electric charging facilities at PEA VOLTA and VOLTA CONNEXT stations, with over 400 stations already operational nationwide.
