On April 3, 2024, Governor of Prachuap Province, Mr. Somkid Chanthamaruek, inaugurated the Prachuap Khiri Khan Run Khan Do “Run Kan Du” stadium at Wing 5 Club, Ao Manao. The event witnessed the participation of various officials and over 1,500 runners, enjoying the cool weather as they raced around Ao Manao. Among the attendees were Deputy Governor Mr. Khomkrit Charoenpattanasombat, and Prachuap City District Chief Mr. Prasut Hombuntherng.
The stadium is set to host multiple district-level events and one provincial event between February 28 and May 1, 2024. This initiative, which fosters community engagement, is anticipated to continue its success, with the next event scheduled for April 10, 2024, at Mae Ramphueng Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Bang Saphan District.
The Prachuap Khiri Khan Run Khan Do “Run Kan Du” series not only promotes fitness but also strengthens community bonds, demonstrating the region’s commitment to active and healthy lifestyles.
