A breakthrough occurred at 17:15 when the team spotted the tourists and crew members floating in the middle of the sea, holding onto a lifeboat. The prompt discovery allowed for immediate assistance and ensured the safety of everyone involved.
Upon initial examination, it was identified that one woman from the group was part of the distress situation. Among the rescued, one individual exhibited signs of fatigue due to hunger, necessitating transport to Koh Kood Hospital for a thorough check of their condition. The precautionary measure aimed to address potential health issues arising from the ingestion of seawater, ensuring the well-being of those affected by the maritime incident.
