The Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin hosted a Donor Recognition ceremony on September 3, 2024, to mark the donation of a much-needed ambulance to Hua Hin Hospital. The ceremony celebrated contributions from various Rotary clubs and individual donors who supported the project.
The fully equipped ambulance, valued at 2.5 million baht, was the result of a joint fundraising effort. In addition to the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin, several other clubs provided financial assistance. The Rotary Club of Bangkok South, the Rotary Club of Bangkok, the Rotary Club of Bangkapi, the Rotary Club of Photharam, and the Rotary Club of Pra Pathom Chedi contributed 895,000 baht. The help4people foundation in Switzerland and individual donors also played a role in funding the vehicle.



Presiding over the event was Hua Hin Mayor Nopporn Wuttikhul, alongside Dr. Jittarat Techavutiporn, director of Hua Hin Hospital. Over 50 attendees, including Rotarians, medical professionals, and prominent figures from Rotary International District 3330, were present. Among them were Past District Governors Jutathip Thamsiripong and Paikit Hoonpongsimanont.
The Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin, founded in 2010, is one of the larger clubs in Rotary District 3330, boasting over 60 members from 15 different nationalities.
