SRT Unveils Special Train Tours for Tourists

The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has unveiled an array of special train excursions tailored for tourists aboard the Kiha 183 train, comprising 14 distinctive journeys spanning nine captivating routes. Commencing bookings on Monday (April 22), these weekend trips are slated to commence from May through June, promising a delightful fusion of cultural immersion and natural wonders.

Throughout May, adventurers can traverse Saraburi, Chachoengsao, and Phetchaburi, indulging in a rich tapestry of activities encompassing cultural explorations, scenic boat rides, and beachside leisure. Noteworthy highlights include the enchanting “Unseen Saraburi” tour, picturesque boat cruises in Chachoengsao, and an enchanting visit to the expansive Mrigadayavan Palace in Phetchaburi.

Come June, the itinerary shifts focus to Lopburi, where participants partake in environmental conservation endeavors like tree replanting. Additionally, overnight escapades beckon travelers to Chachoengsao and Nakhon Nayok for thrilling rafting adventures and encounters with pristine natural landscapes. The month culminates with enchanting visits to Ayutthaya, offering a blend of forest restoration activities and historical site exploration.

Each meticulously curated journey encompasses train travel, air-conditioned buses for extended excursions, admission fees to various attractions, as well as provisions for food, beverages, and accident insurance coverage.

Prospective travelers can secure their coveted slots by visiting railway stations nationwide or by leveraging the convenience of online booking via the SRT’s D-Ticket platform. Given the limited availability of 202 seats per trip, early reservation is strongly recommended to secure a spot in these exclusive travel odysseys.
