Bangkok sets the stage for the Startup X Innovation Expo, a dynamic event aimed at propelling Thailand’s emergence as a leading tech hub in the region. Organized by the National Innovation Agency in collaboration with the Public Sector Development Commission, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and the Board of Investment, the expo underscores the nation’s commitment to fostering innovation and leveraging technology for growth.
Themed “Innovation Partnership – Together We Can Grow,” the expo highlights the pivotal role of collaboration across the public, private, education, and social sectors. By uniting these sectors, the event aims to empower startups and innovative businesses, strengthen Thailand’s innovation ecosystem, and propel the country towards a future driven by innovation.
Pun-Arj Chairatana, the executive director of the National Innovation Agency, emphasizes the significance of the expo in bringing together a diverse range of participants, including innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, and representatives from the public and private sectors. The expo’s primary objective is to cultivate an innovation ecosystem for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), foster an innovative mindset, and inspire young individuals to explore diverse career opportunities.
Foreign Affairs Minister Don Pramudwinai underscores the transformative power of innovation, extending beyond mere convenience to enriching the quality of life, society, and the economy. The Startup X Innovation Expo is currently being held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre until June 24, serving as a vibrant platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and showcasing cutting-edge innovations.
