The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched an exciting event, the “Shopping Challenge,” as a prelude to the highly anticipated Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2023. Twelve teams of renowned key opinion leaders (KOLs) and influencers from China, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan gathered in Bangkok to compete for a special prize by embarking on a fast-paced race across the city’s iconic malls in search of unbeatable bargains.
Equipped with 10,000 Baht each, the teams were assigned the task of live streaming their shopping endeavors while hunting for the most remarkable products at incredible prices along the bustling BTS Skytrain Sukhumvit Line. The victorious teams, as chosen by TAT, were awarded a generous prize of 100,000 baht.
TAT Governor Yuthasak Supasorn emphasized that the Shopping Challenge served as an exciting prelude to the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2023, set to take place from June 15 to August 15 in popular destinations such as Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Udon Thani, Chon Buri (Pattaya), and Songkhla (Hat Yai). This year’s theme, “Hunting Season,” will see over 10,000 participating businesses offering exclusive deals and discounts to both Thai and international shoppers seeking outstanding products at exceptional prices.
