Pattaya, Thailand – In a recent incident that tarnished the scenic beauty of Bali Hai Peninsula, teenagers were caught on CCTV cameras defacing cabinets and chairs with spray paint. Pattaya City Mayor, Mr. Pramet Ngampichet, swiftly responded to the situation by ordering officials to file a complaint against the perpetrators.

Reports surfaced detailing how miscreants, identified as two teenagers wearing black and purple T-shirts, were captured on surveillance cameras vandalizing the Bali Hai peninsula area around 9:00 p.m. on March 12, 2024. The footage depicted the duo casually spray-painting booths and seats, leaving behind a trail of damage and defacement.
Mayor Pramet Ngampichet expressed his dismay over the incident, emphasizing its adverse impact on Pattaya City’s reputation. Following the discovery, the Mayor personally inspected the CCTV footage and directed authorities to take necessary legal action against the offenders.
The Mayor’s office was alerted to the vandalism by special affairs officials who had observed similar incidents across nine locations within Pattaya City. Collaborating with Pattaya City Police, the authorities initiated legal proceedings against those responsible for the vandalism.
Mayor Pramet Ngampichet, in a statement, urged the public and tourists to respect the city’s attractions and refrain from engaging in illegal activities. Stressing the importance of preserving Pattaya’s beauty, he called upon citizens to cooperate in safeguarding the region’s cultural and natural heritage.
Efforts are underway to ensure the swift prosecution of the perpetrators, signaling Pattaya City’s commitment to maintaining law and order and protecting its cherished landmarks.
