In a thrilling culmination of skill and perseverance, 23-year-old Thanrada Pidkdon from Nonthaburi clinched her first professional championship after only four months of competitive play. She emerged victorious in the inaugural Singha-SAT Hua Hin Ladies Championship 2024, held at the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course, with a total purse of 1.2 million baht. This landmark event, organized by the Women’s Professional Golf Association, marked the centennial celebration of the golf course.

Pidkdon’s outstanding performance in the final round on April 19 showcased her talent, as she scored an impressive three-under-par 69. Her strategic play throughout the three-day tournament, including three consecutive birdies at holes 1, 2, and 3, contributed to her well-deserved victory. She expressed gratitude to her family, friends, tournament organizers, and sponsors for their unwavering support.

Joining Pidkdon on the leaderboard were Chalchiwatt Wongsrirat and Bow-Nattarika Sennasai, who finished in second and third place, respectively, earning cash prizes and acclaim for their exceptional performances. As the tournament concluded, officials commended the players for their dedication and sportsmanship, setting the stage for future competitions in May 2024.
