On March 21, 2024, around 10:30 p.m., the Railway Police Officer reached out to Police Officer 191, seeking assistance in locating a Canadian tourist named Mr. Ralph, aged 26, who went missing from Train No. 168. Mr. Ralph was believed to have disappeared near Ban Kluai Temple, Ratchaburi Province, while on his way to Chumphon. Concerns grew as Mr. Ralph vanished after stepping out to smoke, prompting an extensive search effort.
The search, which involved various authorities and volunteers, extended from Ratchaburi to Ban Pong District, spanning several hours. Despite exhaustive efforts, Mr. Ralph remained elusive. Tragically, his lifeless body was later discovered under the platform of Chet Samian Railway Station, bearing signs of injury. Initial investigations suggested he might have accidentally struck a protruding cement stick, leading to a fatal fall.
Authorities are awaiting forensic examination to ascertain the exact cause of death and plan to notify Mr. Ralph’s family and embassy accordingly.
