The “Cha-Am Bikini Beach Run 2024” competition, now in its 14th consecutive year, was organized through the collaborative efforts of Phetchaburi Province, Cha-Am Municipality, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Phetchaburi Office, Thai Hotels Association Western Region, Tourism Industry Council of Phetchaburi Province, Phetchaburi Chamber of Commerce, and JOG&JOY.

The organizers have continuously refined and enhanced the event, offering race categories ranging from a half marathon of 21 kilometers to shorter distances of 10 and 5 kilometers. These adjustments aim to transform the venue into an internationally recognized long-distance running track.

Besides promoting public engagement and supporting overall fitness through activities like walking and running, the event serves as a catalyst for economic growth and boosts tourism in Phetchaburi Province, aligning with the government’s policy to promote sports tourism in Thailand. The Beach Run also elevates the stature of the international half marathon event in Cha-Am, attracting 1,000 participants from both local and international communities to enjoy the refreshing seaside ambiance while competing.
