On March 2, 2024, journalists covered a notable event in Hua Hin District the 26th edition of the “Red Cross and Good Things of Hua Hin District.” Held from February 24 to March 4, 2024, at a sprawling 25-rai activity area located at Soi Hua Hin 102, behind Bluport Hua Hin Department Store, the event drew a significant nightly crowd of tourists and locals alike. The main attraction was the Red Cross Matcha Shop, where patrons flocked to sample, shop, and capture photos, particularly enticed by the charity Red Cross lottery tickets priced at 20 baht each. Proceeds from the ticket sales were earmarked for relief efforts, aiding victims of various disasters and supporting disadvantaged individuals through charitable initiatives.
The vibrant ambiance of the event was palpable, with citizens and tourists eagerly purchasing lottery tickets for a chance to win coveted prizes such as motorcycles, bicycles, gold necklaces, refrigerators, and other electrical appliances. Each night, electric bicycles were among the prizes up for grabs, adding to the excitement.
