Vibrant Event : 26th Red Cross in Hua Hin

On March 2, 2024, journalists covered a notable event in Hua Hin District the 26th edition of the “Red Cross and Good Things of Hua Hin District.” Held from February 24 to March 4, 2024, at a sprawling 25-rai activity area located at Soi Hua Hin 102, behind Bluport Hua Hin Department Store, the event drew a significant nightly crowd of tourists and locals alike. The main attraction was the Red Cross Matcha Shop, where patrons flocked to sample, shop, and capture photos, particularly enticed by the charity Red Cross lottery tickets priced at 20 baht each. Proceeds from the ticket sales were earmarked for relief efforts, aiding victims of various disasters and supporting disadvantaged individuals through charitable initiatives.

The vibrant ambiance of the event was palpable, with citizens and tourists eagerly purchasing lottery tickets for a chance to win coveted prizes such as motorcycles, bicycles, gold necklaces, refrigerators, and other electrical appliances. Each night, electric bicycles were among the prizes up for grabs, adding to the excitement. Notable figures including General Krit Puangwalaisin, Hua Hin District Chief, and Mrs. Usa Puangwalaisin, President of the Red Cross Branch of Hua Hin District, graced the occasion, presenting prizes to the fortunate winners at the Matcha Red Cross Shop.

Amidst the festivities, visitors had the opportunity to explore a diverse array of offerings, including an OTOP product shop featuring souvenirs from Hua Hin District at affordable prices. The event also boasted stalls vending consumer goods, furniture, flowering plants, and ornamentals, alongside local food booths serving delectable seafood and snacks. A mobile amusement park featuring modern rides added an element of thrill, complemented by nightly concerts featuring leading artists, singers, and renowned bands, ensuring entertainment for all attendees.

With the festivities continuing until March 4th, the event organizers extend a warm invitation to all to partake in the “Red Cross and Good Things of Hua Hin District No. 26,” promising an enriching experience for visitors of all ages.
