On September 15, 2024, medals and trophies were awarded to young athletes at the annual youth athletics competition in Hua Hin. The event, held at the Army Non-Commissioned Officer School athletic field, drew participants from various local schools, competing in several events including 80-meter sprints, 100-meter dashes, and 4×100 meter relays.
The 2024 youth athletics competition saw top honors awarded in multiple age categories. Wat Nong Kae Municipal School secured first place in the under-8 division, while Satukanwittaya Secondary School took the top spot in the under-10 category. Wat Nong Kae Municipal School also won in the under-12 division. Ban Hua Hin Demonstration School emerged as the winner in the under-14 category, and Hua Hin College claimed victories in both the under-16 and under-18 divisions.
It was reported that several officials were present to support the young athletes. Ms. Pailin Kongpan, Deputy Mayor of Hua Hin, along with Mr. Jirawat Phramanee, Permanent Secretary of Hua Hin Municipality, attended the event to present the awards, joined by school principals, teachers, and municipal representatives.
